El Refugio de Juanar's kitchen is proud to present succulent dishes inspired in the landscapes which surround it. Game is a speciality, partridge in brine, rabbit, deer, pheasant, quail hunters style and when in season mountain goat. We also recommend dishes typical of Spanish cuisine such as roasted goat, lamb, suckling pig 'serranillo' or mountain style, suckling pig Segovia style stew, goose liver etc.

WINE CELLAR
Our small wine cellar with more than 7000 bottle s of Rioja, Ribera del Duero wine etc, is a visit that cant be missed on your stay at Refugio de Juanar. Taste the Iberian Parma ham, cured cheese and a glass of our wine on your visit to the wine cellar.

The cellar was built in 1996, below the hotel in a prefect climate to conserve wine and hams and was a whim of the designer and director of the Refugio de Juanar José Gómez Ávila. |
